Sunset sailing with traditional boat “Jukung”

Enjoy the sea and the magnificent view of Bali’s coast and Mt. Agung volcano on a sunset excursion in a traditional outrigger boat “Jukung”.

Sail from the beach right in front of Hotel Uyah Amed and Spa Resort out into the open sea for about an hour and then turn back to sail towards the beautiful sunset behind Mt. Agung. This trip takes about 2 to 2 ½ hours and you should start around 5 p.m.

You sail with a traditional outrigger boat “Jukung” as it is used by the local fishermen from Amed every day. They use nets and hooks to catch fish. Unfortunately it becomes more and more difficult to bring home sufficient amounts of fish and seafood to feed their families and pay the school fees for their children.
